TDN Guest | Ok this is a pain. I downloaded a TV show which has given me a folder with 26+ different files in it...
hdtv_xvid-fov.r00
xvid-fov.r01
xvid-fov.r02
xvid-fov.r03 - etc thru to 23
xvid-fov.r23
Then two more files:
xvid-fov.rar
xvid-fov.sfv
And a text file which is of no use to me.
What do I need to play the whole kit and caboodle in VLC Media?
Incidentally the RAR file just played just fine in VLC - but lasted all of 3 minutes. Do all the other files need changed to RAR? Or what? This is agony. Please help.
SOON!
Thanks
Miss T

TDN Guest | Oh just to say - I cut out the majority of the file names because they were really LONG...
With show name, episode, episode name and then home.hdtv.xvid-fov.r01
Hope this makes sense to someone, I am going mad.
Wish people could just do normal bleeding AVIs or MPGs - size or no size issue, it’d just be easier for novices like me!!

00chieMamma Guest | The important part are the extensions, All the files are numbered because it is one file split into so many parts. Install winrar, dbl click one of the files to extract and join if this does not happen right click file and open with winrar to associate file.
