Anyone try DVD Fab Decrypter ? If you look for it on the net you can download a free version. I used to use dvd decrypter, but somehow it doesn’t quite work like I want it to. If you run your file through DVD Fab decypter, then through DVD Shrink and finally use Nero 6 to burn it, you will get a perfect back up.

What program do you use to compress ISO files? I would extract the information, then just compress that, but it doesn’t work when I do that for some reason. So is there a program that does compress ISO files?

I’ve tried using DeepBurner to convert downloaded .avi tv shows into an ISO image which I’ve then burned using the same program onto a DVD-R.
The resulting DVD won’t play on my DVD player. Why is that?

Does anyone know how to convert the ISO file so you can watch it on DIVX or Windows Media Player? Or how to make it play on windows or DIVX player?

I, too, dled an archived DVD .iso. The only problem that I see is that the video and audio .iso’s were seperate. This may be a stupid question, but wouldn’t that make a difference when you burned it to dvd?

My friend asked me to burn a few iso game files that he installs on his psp, his optical drive no longer recognized these types of files and on top of that he can no longer burn music using wmp, now I can’t copy or move over anything to my optical drive! Any ideas?

You can also try 1CLICK DVD COPY PRO. It is $79.00 but it lets you set the compression ratio’s on all parts of the dvd. It works like dvdshrink. You can get a trial version of it that works. It lets you burn 3 movies as a trial. You might like it. Can’t hurt.
