Mount the image-file(.iso) with a program such as Daemon Tools.

Aften that it’s just to enter My Computer, and there the movie is. Then you can you Windows Media Player or whatever to play it.

You’re welcome!

You discuss about what to do if you don’t have DVD burner. But could you explain how should i whatch .iso format movie using DVD burner..? Is DVD burner special programme for watching this format movie or have I just burn .iso file into DVD-CD (using e.g. Nero Burner) and then watch the movie using Power DVD? Or what should I do?

And.. when i clicked right on this file, my computer suggested opne it with WinRAR archiver. When i extracted it I got two folders: AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS. In VIDEO_TS was VIDEO_TS.BUP file.
Can you help me..?smiley

Where I live there are places called videostores, you go there on Tuesdays and for about $5 you can rent 5 movies and then if you like them you can copy them with DVD shrink...

Gazz11992,

If this is for a “Back-up” go to gamecopyworld.com

Use the search function and select the game. It should point you to a proper file called a modified .exe which will allow you to run the game.

Either that or check the disc (Mount the image), right click the drive, select open, and go to a folder marked by an odd name, in it may be your answer.

Cam,

Keep the .iso and download VLC player

http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

Then, install VLC Player, and open it. Drag the .iso to the player and it should play.

If you don’t mind losing all of the data on your pC, then all you need are the windows disc(s) that came with your PC and a CD drive.

Then, when it asks select format.

It should erase all of the data on your PC (This means you’ll be starting from scratch [No Files]) for the time being, as you’ll most likely re-populate your PC with more files.

Though, the data is able to be retrieved by certain utilities until it is completely over-riden by other data.

Kylegamer,

You my friend have a game disc image.

What you need is Daemon Tools.

After much searching and reading forums on how to play an .iso movie file on a laptop without the DVD inserted, the only method that worked for me was to download VideoLAN’s free software called - VLC Media Player. Go to http://www.videolan.org/ Select “VLC Media Player” from top options, select version for you operation system, download and run.
