Maybe we all should wait for someone to ACTYALLY PUT the movie up on the internet instead of bragging about a file that doesnt work..Pataince is a virtue...especially if ur a cheap bastard who cant spend a small sum to go to the movies

The only way 2 get rid of that corrupted file/trojan is 2 dig deep in2 the window registry. But b 4 U do that, U’ll have 2 make a security copy of it or U will have 2 re-install window again. If U aren’t sure of how 2 do it, I suggest that U find or ask some1 who can. (Otherwise U’ll fuck up ur whole computer)

this is for the folks that downloaded the alleged Star Wars “Sith” movie from Ares (which is a fake) & can’t delete it off there file...Google “GiPo@moveonboot” program see if ya find it. I’ve used this program a few times now and it works everytime. Its free to download. I found it by searching Google for “can’t delete file”.

It is good Geoff Large that U mention about Gipo. It isn’t that easy 2 use software 4 some, but I hope they will manage it. Here r the link 2 it.

GiPo@FileUtilities is a set of utilities for Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP that
provide many useful services: GiPo@MoveOnBoot ...

2 finish off, I have a link here 2 all files sharer using p2p who only want 2 dl but too fucking lazy enough 2 do any searching by themself.

Help reduce the number of fake files on P2P networks! Keep newly downloaded Kazaa, WinMX and eMule (+ other P2P program) files in private quarantine folders while sharing other folders.

... Kazaa Scanner 1.7. Help reduce the number of fake files on P2P networks! ... Kazaa Scanner is a free simple P2P add-on utility to move downloaded files ...

I got rid of it by deleting warez, do a full system scan with norton, then deleted warez shared folder & empty recycle bin.

I don’t dl from ares. I do my downloading thru 1 of the fastest file sharing community on earth. U can’t get in2 the community anymore unless U r V.I.P or have 1. It’s called the i2hub. Dl speed at 20 gigs per second no matter what type of connection U have.

This file isn’t a joke. It really affects your PC and slows it down. Stay away from it. If anyone can help me delete it, please.

The dark side of the force is spread everywhere even in small lines of code to yield harm to the unwary human.

Fortunately, I was able to get rid of this malicious file by following this procedure:

1. I closed all the programs
2. Opened the command line prompt (RUN > “CMD”wink
3. I pressed CONTROL + ALT + DELETE just once to open the task manager.
4. I selected “explorer.exe” in the task manager and clicked on end process.
5. I used my basic skills in MS-DOS to go to the Ares Folder and I deleted the malicious file using the DEL command.
6. In the task manager I selected FILE > New Task > “Explorer.exe”

It is my hope this helps you restore your system. Be mindful of malicious file.

May the force be with us all.

File is a fake ........best way to delete the file is go to RUN , type REGEDIT and go to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\System File Assosiation\.avi\shellex\Property Handler and delete the default value. Then restart the computer and now you can delete the file.
Worked for me
