Hey can anyone tell me the difference between mpeg4, divx, xvid, avi, mpeg1&2. I understand that divx and xvid are hacked versions of mpeg4 but i dont understand which is better and so forth with avi. I also would like to know how to burn and of these files especially avi to a cd-r because most of my movies are in avi format and i dont really want to convert any to a different format when i dont know anything about the different formats. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
