Burning .avi files to CD-R?

I wanted to free some space on my computer, but i dont have a DVD burner, and my dad does on a seperate computer...is there a way i could burn my .avi files to a CD-R just to carry them to his computer and burn them to a DVD?

Yeah, just burn them using Nero, burn them as a Data disk then take your CD-R and put it in your other computer and copy them to the hard drive.

Why not network the computers, them use your dad’s omputer to access the computer with the movies, copy & paste them to your dad’s computer through the network (ethernet cable & switch will do the job)
.. or use your wireless connection to send from one computer to the other (put movies in shared folder)
