What Codecs should I install?

Im wondering what kinda codec packs I should install at the computer....

Videos Ive gotten from 'friends' sometimes shows up greenish...what todo?

Please help me out....

(Any links about how todo it, and stuff like that?)

Basically... I’ed say go for the divx codec, xvid codec, mp43 avi codec fix and some audio codecs.

All available on this website or following a link from this website :-)

I never installed any of those big codec packs myself - never found it to needed. Perhaps the people that works with encoding, converting stuff need them.

divx , xvid and AC3 Codecs are all i have , all movies are working great on xp
