DIANE Guest | I RECENTLY COPIED A BUNCH OF VIDEOS AND CREATED DVDS ON MY RCA VCR TO DVD RECORDER. I FINALIZED ALL MY +R DISCS. THEY APPEAR TO BE IN THE .VOB FORMAT
1). I’D LIKE TO EDIT THE DVDS IN MY COMPUTER. WHAT SOFTWARE WILL ALLOW ME TO DO THAT. I REALIZE I WILL HAVE TO COPY MY DVD DISC INTO MY HARD DRIVE.
2). WHAT MEDIA PLAY WILL PLAY MY RCA DVD ON THE COMPUTER. THEY WORK ON THE SET TOP DVD PLAYERS BUT I HAVE NOT GOT THEM TO WORK ON THE COMPUTER.
THANKS FOR ANYONES HELP

labish Guest | DVD Decrypter is a freeware and DVD Fab both ripper can copy your dvd’s on hard drive. You are going to get a vob file in order to edit a vob you have to convert it in whatever format you like with a tool like this:http://www.tomdownload.com/multimedia_design/video/dvd_vcd_avi_mpeg.htm Depands by what you want to do with your files. Also Nero has a lot of tools for editing your dvd’s.After you’re done editing you may burn a new dvd to play on your stand alone player.
