no movie is played properly :(

hey guys

i have a huge problem. no matter what codec i install, how many i install, and all that, my movies just don’t work: either the sound is missing, or the video, or i see only frames, or the problem which appears most often : audio is good, but video is low as u see in those sport replays when everything is slow. what am i to do? i am desperate. i also have gspot, but gspot always tells me that i have everything installed to play the movie. please help
