hey,

im havin trouble playing most of my video files that are .mpg

They only play about 30-40 seconds of the video even if it is 1 hour long, and i have to press on the pointer to view different parts of the video for a few seconds. If i am approaching the end of the first 30 seconds it shows me and i press somewhere in the middle of the pointer that shows you where you are in viewing the video, it shows me the real part of the video. I dunno how to explain this properly, but it is extremely annoying.

i a experencing the same problem . seems that the vidio is multiplexed or sync spaced so there is more than one track. gspot identifys the file as mpeg 1 and the file is identified as mpeg / mpeg vob.... the actual length is 5.33 mins. but windows or nero or divx media players only can see aproximatly 2,5 mins...steping back in the vidio as it is playing, as you describe, revels another track which is not being read...i don’t understand this either...have tryed many codecs but so far ,,,no success...
i did find one media player that will play the whole thing....it is called vidio workshop...i got it from the internet by going to the web site of the same nae....it is a shareware verion but it does work. if anybody can figure out what this is doing or if there is a codec available to make windows or other players play these type of files.....PLEASE LET US KNOW.....
