I have downloaded some movies (.mpg files) and these paly fine on my computer. However I want to burn them to DVD disks so I can play on my DVD Player. I have LOGIK DVD-R disks and I have A d & e DRIVE, A sony CD-RW CRX230ED & A Sony CRX320E. The software I have on my PC is Roxio Easy Media Creator 7 basic VCD Edition,Pinnacle instant CD/CVD or Windows Media Player but none of these lets me burn the movie from my hard drive to the disk.

Do I need some more software to burn the file?? If so which is best and are any free??

Get yourself Ashampoo shrink & burn or Sony DVD architect 2.0 and convert the mpeg file to avi respectively Vob then you can burn the prepared files into DVD.The are probably other softwares that can equally do the job but these are the two I know of..Good luck
