HI, I am trying to convert a divx or xvid film which is in .avi to dvd format. Everytime i convert it there is a massive audio lag. The sound is 47 seconds too quick. The first 47 seconds of the film are not meant to have sound as its just credits but the sound just strats with the film causing the whole film to have a huge difference in audio and video. I converted with WinAvi Converter and have also tried DVDLAB PRo. I also tried to alter the sound file in acid pro. but it is imposible to get the timing exact so an audio lag still exsits. Please help me how can i overcome this and burn to a DVD.

maybe you can cut the first 47 secs of your film?
why do you have the audio and video in 2 separate files anyway?

but i dont think that is the problem.
usually if the original file is correct with audio and video the converted result is ok too.

are you sure your system can handle this?
if you have a really slow system these problems can occur.

are you sure one of the settings in the programs you mentioned are ok?

i cant help you really, never had this problem
