Use a program called UltraISO Media, it will burn your Virtual CD images (.vc4) into working CD’s.

It won’t work online. It’s also illegal. So buy the game.

You need to download ISOBUSTER at www.isobuster.com

Once installed goto file, open, and then browse to the folder that you downloaded the video or images to and double click on the .vc4 that you would like to recompile. Then you just right click on the newly recompiled iso file and select extract. Once complete, just burn the newly created directory contents to a CD or DVD.

Hope this helps!

chanman — many people have already told you how to do that - you just havent bothered to read their posts. Look at the following thread:

— CD/DVD image files: ISO, BIN/CUE, MDF/MDS
http://www.moviecodec.com/topics/5042p1.html

...and read from about page 10 onwards - pretty much every page from then on has the answer, and there are about 60 pages. That makes at least 60 answers to your question.

i need solution for this
After reading through 150 posts without finding the file types that are confusing me.
I know alot about PCs but nothing about this. I got a rar file of a video. The guy said it had four images for CDs in it. I extracted it with WinRar. I got what looked like four images. And a lot of other stuff.

Examples:
cd1.000 few hundred megs: right size for an image
cd1.010 is 143K
cd1.020 is 145k
cd1.vc4 is 5k

and so on for cd2, cd3 and cd4 except that all of those have only cdX.010 and not .020 and their .vc4 files are 4k.

On top of this, there are four other files, cd1 through cd4 .VCX files, which are either 31k or 32k in size.

I tried to open them all (just in case) with WinRar, but it reports that they are not archive files. Nero does not seem to recognize any of them.

Does anyone know what they are and how (and what program to use) to process them for burning to CD?

Thanks and Happy Independence Day!

Anyone know what they are

mail2siddu — These are Microsoft FoxPro files. Use UltraISO Media to open your Virtual CD images (.vc4), access their contents, or burn them into working CDs.

If you want to burn the images, use UltraISO to save them as images of a different type (e.g. iso). Then just burn the ISO to CD with Nero..

Hello All,

How can I burn an .img file using Nero 7? I understanding the process of buring cue, bin, and iso files but I’m having troubles buring this .img file to a DVD-R. I can play the movie from my harddrive but now I need to burn it to a disc. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I’m not sure whether or not Nero handles .img files. If it does, the process is exactly the same (Nero StartSmart - Backup - Burn image to disc... etc.). But, if it doesn’t handle the .img format, that won’t work. This being the problem, download UltraISO, Open the .img file, and Save As .bin/.cue or .iso etc. type. Then, burn with Nero.

(unless you know where you downloaded them, in which case the password may be listed there.)
