I have a dvd player that can play DivX encoded movies. I have a boat load of movies on my comp that I want to put on disk. I cant find anything on putting the DivX files onto disk so they can be played on the dvd player. There are lots of forums that tell you how to change them into svcd (mpeg2) but nothing that says how to put them onto disk in their original MPEG4 file. There must be a way, becasue why else would they make DVD players that can play them.
Anybody Know?

The link is to encoding software, so it can be played on any stand alone DVD.

Since yours is Divx capable burning as data would do it. You could always use a DVD-rw disc for a test run.

Using menus as those retail DVDs I dont know and would assume any DVD authoring software would want to encode your Divx file to be DVD capable.
