amob005 Guest | i downloaded an avi file and the movie is 2 hours long, but in tmpgenc it says it is 5 hours long so the only way to encode it to fit on dvd is to change the bitrate to a lousy quality. But I want decent quality cos it is movie night tomorrow and i promised my friends and they want to watch this movie.
What am i doing wrong here? I have exactly the same settings for all my other avis and they work out fine. it’s this file that’s not working.
The movie is in pal. It says .TC just before the .avi suffix. i don’t know if that is important. maybe i have the wrong codec? It plays fine with xvid, but windows media keeps asking me to get another codec - i think it is divx but with divx it looks all screwed up, like a pink vertical band on the right, and the picture is split into three vertical sections.
So how can i get tmpgenc to recognize that the movie is 2 hours long and not 5 hours long?! |
