twizm Guest | I have several *.nde files with associated *.ndx files. I am told these are from a surveillance video. I am trying to open them to view the video but after 2+ hours on the web I have been unable to find any reference to the nde file types. Does anybody know what these are? and or how I can read/convert them?
thanks
twiz

Greg Mahoney Guest | I’m in the same boat! If I find something I’ll pass it along. I hate these proprietary digital video surveillance systems and their un-obtainable, crappy codecs!

twizm Guest | I actually went back to the person in charge of the surveillance stuff and found a viewer on their machine. what luck. You might want to try that or contact the manufacturer.... a pain in behind but you never know....

dst Guest | I am in the same boat with the nde video file. Did you find out who manufactured the video system that created this file? I have to find them too.
Thanks

twizm Guest | You would be best advised to look at the equipment itself to get the make and model number, then go back to the manufacturer/supplier of said equipment. They usually provide a viewer with the original equipment setup.

anon Guest | This post had my curiousity so I went looking....What I found was mostly gibberish but most info. pointed to Voip(voice over ip). Different programs use this to send voice and video data over the internet. Alot of info. pointed to these 2 sites as well http://www.openh323.org/ http://myphone.sourceforge.net/.....I have no idea if this is of any help but 1 thing I just remembered is that a video splitter program was mentioned to seperate the 2 streams so you can view the video http://www.freedownloadscenter.com/Best/free-stream.html good luck!!
