How to write a Quictime Playlist file?

Hi,
I have been making an application which dynamically makes playlist files for videos. Making a video playlist file for Windows Media Player was simple, but i havent yet found a way of making a Quick Time playlist file.

Can any body help me on this?? You can simply copy paste the content of a Quick Time playlist file, if you have any. And ALSO please tell me what is the extension that is to be used.
