Hi. I have several video files that will not play correctly. With Windows Media Player, they play as if there is 30 seconds of video, yet they are large files (80 mb+) and also all of the files are there, as it skips to a random point in the video if the player time bar is moved around. I was wondering what codec to download to fix this.

Also, I might note that the very same files play perfectly fine on my old computer using WMP 9. How friggin ridiculous is that?

I have this exact same problem! It is usually with MPEG files. I’ve been searching for the answer for ages. If anyone has the answer you’d be my hero!
