Hepl with .hdtv-lol

Hey all. Using azureus I just downloaded a few lost episodes. But they are all in .hdtv-lol? What the? Im hoping to burn the episodes to a DVD using Ulead DVD 7. Ill need a codec to play it on my computer in MP 10 but will i also need a converter to do the burning?
Can you tell me where to get the codec and (if needed) converter from.
BTW you americans are heaps far ahead of us in Lost, Australia is only up to episode 10, Im trying to get a full colection of them all, but lots of you have stoped shearing the episodes i need. Anyone know any good sites, i need episodes 1-8.

I’m using mIRC to download episodes of the lost series.
Three episodes do not have any sound and I don’t know why. Any ideas?

hey the codec you need is XVid. It’s pretty much like divx. All my 24 episodes and arrested developments are done by those same people. some guy with high def. does all of it. they are in pretty good quality.

Ok so where do i get them from. I gave up using azureus it took 3 days to get to 50% then they all stopped.

ace mega codecs have all the codecs you will need i watch all hd tv lol lost up to episode 21 go to divx .com or search for it in google

I’ve downloaded a movie file in hdtv-lol and it won’t play in DivX 2.6 or Window’s Media Player V10. I’ve downloaded the xvid codec and it still won’t play. When you download codecs does your computer simply recognize them or is there a way to synchronize them with your player? Is there an easier way to go about this? Thanks

In every thread that I have red n came across in this forum, everybody seem 2 got stuck up with fucking window media player. Not only r they fucking player, they tend 2 track U down like a spyware or adware n reporting back 2 microsoft database n see what all these ppl r watching.
Don’t b some fucking retards. GOOGLE the WEB 4 MEDIA or VIDEO PLAYER. (Of different kinds)

hey guys the thing u all need for the problems with sound is ac3filter_0_70b (http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/ac3filter/ac3filter_0_70b.exe?download)
then with the problems with no video etc.. first get Nemo50build8 (http://nimo.titanesk.com/modules/freecontent/index.php?id=1)
then xpcodec pack (http://www.free-codecs.com/XP_Codec_Pack_download.htm)
then if theres any more problems etc.. get drdivx5
(http://www.divx.com/divx/drdivx/download/) THEN you should be ok with the tv rips by groups like lol, tbs, loki, fov etc.... enjoy ))

First of all: hdtv-lol is not some kind of codec! they are all .avi files

hdtv is the quality and lol stands for the people who captured them.

You have pdtv, hdtv and dsr these are all xvid codecs. You should do fine with the latest xvid codec. Before you install this codec you must make sure that there is no earlier version of xvid on yor pc. My advise is to uninstall all codecs and download a full codec pack, I use “ACE mega codec pack XP” (search google) but k-lite codec pack is also a good one.

If it still won’t work check or try the following:

Is the file completely downloaded, sometimes a piece failes hash-check so start bittorrent again and click save as on the same file

Check avi-preview (search google or most codec packs) and open the file sometimes is works with avi-preview and not with wmp 10



And to download alle kinds of episodes you can go to: www.tvtorrent.info www.tvtorrents.com www.piratebay.org and many more, just search with google. Your problem with stuck on 50% is probably because you are downloading old lost episodes, is an episode is older then 2 weeks there is usualy nobody to seed anymore, but you can still download the episodes with mIRC, eDonkey or kazaa

I have another problem with .hdtv-lol files for both lost and Prison Break, the sound and video are not in sync. They start off fine but gradually they get out of sync. If I stop the program and totally restart it and forward to the part I was at they are OK again for a while.

I’ve tried playing with Windows Media player 10 and Nero showtime and recording to DVD using Nerovision Express. When I record to DVD there is no way to correct the problem. Any ideas?
