Steve Guest | Hi, I recently installed ACE CoDec Mega Pack 6.03. I installed it on the “just play” setting, then checked the “CoDecs” box. Everything has worked fine except I can no longer run Adobe Premiere. Whenever I start up Premiere, it gets stuck at the point where it says “Loading CompilerVfw.prm”. At this point the program continues to try to load (and fail) and when I restart the computer it always tells me that something called “cb60” or “cb78 or “cb80” cannot be closed and i have to end the task.
If I uncheck CoDecs and Filters in the Ace Mega CoDecs Pack Dashboard, all of the compilers and such load (including compilervfw.prm), but Premiere gives me a pop-up window that says “Adobe Premiere Pro could not find any valid editing mode. Please reinstall Adobe Premiere Pro and start again." When I uninstall the ACE Mega CoDecs pack Premiere works fine again. Does anyone know how I can have Ace Mega Pack on work but also have Premiere Work?
Thanks in advance.

Miro Guest | And how to disable CORE AUDIO???

DJPollum Guest | I had the same problem that loading Premiere got stuck at the CompilerVfw file.
After disabling that “Core” codecs and filters, Adobe Premiere would startup normally.
So here’s your answer...

Jan-Arne Hatlelid Guest | With me the problem is FL Studio VSTi.dll
Where can I find the files that Premiere loads? I can’t find VSTi.dll in the Adobe Premier folder
The file locations:
#1 \Programfiler\Steinberg\Vstplugins
#2 \Programfiler\FLStudio4\System\Plugin\VSTi
I don’t want to uninstall neither Fruity Loops or Premiere, any ideas to fix this problem?

Don Braswell Guest | I too had the same problem with Adobe Premier not loading. It got stuck at the CompilerVfw file.
I disabled the “Core” codecs using Dashboard (3ivx is still enabled), and now Premier loads normally.
Thanks for all of the help.

itsme Guest | I have had the same problem with Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5 did freeze at the point of “loading compilervfw.prm”.
After disabling “Core -> CoreFLAC Audio Codec 0.1.0.0” in “Ace Mega Codec Pack Dashboard”, Premiere runs without any problem for me now.
