radiosick Guest | I have the Nero 6se suit. I can watch the movies with the nero media player. I can also burn .img files like they are .avi files. I just go to "create your own video DVD" in Nero Start Smart, then I go to "add video files" and scroll down to "All File Types" to find the .img file. Nero will treat it as if it were a video file. You can then make a menu for it and everything. Thank God for Nero. It is also about the easiest program to bootleg  hint hint.

rwillia2 Guest | All you need is DVD shrink, use the option to open files..... it supports .img. Nero 6 does not, unless poss if you have the ultra edition. Matbe DVD Dec works, but I had a 5 min fiddle and gave up!

JMtech Guest | Ok, so I have Nero, and tried to burn a DVD from an .IMG file, and all it burned was the DVD menu. I tried magiciso to convert it to an .ISO file, and still only the menu loads on the burner. What am I doing wrong? thanks!

Nate Guest | I already had Daemon tools installed, so I’ve used that to mount the .img file, then used Ahead Nero to copy DVD to DVD (in this case, virtual DVD drive to actual DVD)

Avtar Guest | When i am capturing Movie or still from my camera. they are IMG files. If I will do some editind on the files these will not work in the camera. Secondly in ulead Video studio 7 IMG still can be edited but video and sound files are nor supported by this software. What I have to do that I can run my still and movies in camera also after editing.

U can rename img file to iso file like bstag was sayin and then u can mount image to virtual dvd drive with daemontools then u dont even need to burn it.. works 4 me

Majestyk Guest | Renaming the .img to iso worked fine for me. I then used alcohol 120% to burn the .iso file to a dvd. It worked well for playback on dvd player and on computer.

nero doesnt burn it, and i was told to convert it into iso and then write it.
i downloaded magiciso but i dont know how to use it, and how will it help me burn my episodes on to a dvd, and play it on my dvd player.
please help!

kojisai Guest | if you change file extension form ".img” to ".iso”, then if you have “winrar”, just right click then select extract here and you have the makings of a decrypted dvd on your hard drive. you can play the individual vob files in any dvd software.

Handheldmidgets Guest | ok i work at a gas station in michigan, and the other day, there was a sweet fire...our security cameras caught it all, and i have it on cd, but it’s an .img file....im trying to turn it into an mpeg or something so i can put it online for everyone to see.....if anyone can help me, i guess email me or something, or write it up here....my email is handheldmidgets@yahoo.com.....i dont know if im allowed to post that here or not....just found this website tonight....so hopefully one of you guys can help out....thanks
