Hi people please help me!!! i have some files that when i go to play them i can hear the sound but the screen is green ? i run xp and use wmp10 to play my files. I have tried downloading a codec pack ( i know nothing about codecs) and it worked but nothing else on my pc wanted to lol especially nero, ive had to smart restore and bin that pack, is there a codec i can use for this problem instead of a pack? I had the same problem with some files with sound but i fixed that running a .exe file advised from here which is great!!!
Please help as this is driving me crazyyy

lol...*insanely*... I also have the same problem...I have XP WMP10 DIVX6 ffdshow...and xvid mpeg 4 video codec pack.

Before i installed ffdshow i had no picture but now it works but picture is green. I have been going round in circles trying to find a remedy but I cannot seem to fix this problem.

I am cracking up.

>>If anyone could give me any advice or has any comments and could make some suggestions, would be happy as a pig in a proverbial puddle!
