Using Nero 6.0 I only copy the Video_ts folder and burn. Is the audio embedded in the video ??
If so ,what is the purpose of the Audio_ts folder ??
Anybody Know ???

I don’t help people who can’t be polite in a public forum. If anyone can’t speak without cussing I just skip their post. Maybe think about that sometime.

I did got back and read your post.
1: What DVD player program are you useing for the windows media player. (newest version ?? newest ddrivers ?? etc)
2: What is a vlc player ??
3: Is your DVD player compatable with the media disc you are burning to ?? What are you using +R , -R , RAM ??? Name brand and make of player ?
You didn’t include as much info as you think !!

The most important is the VIDEO_TS folder. The AUDIO_TS folder is somewhat unimportant depending on the outcome of the movie itself. Some conversion software have both where other don’t. Now U’ve the answer.

Okay children, here are the facts, no cussing, no CAPS, no insulting. We are all here because we want to know answers. There is no need to keep going back and fourth kicking each other over who’s way is better. All anyone wants to know is this... give us us free way to copy our downloaded files into a format we can watch on our TV’s. We all use a P2P network of some kind to avoid buying these movies so lets skip the melodramatics and get to it. Most newbies want to know how to do all of this FREE. You download movies free so get your software the same way, make sure you have some kind of protection, no pun intended. No one started out as experts so finding the way that best fits you and your computer is a trial and error process. Any program you see on the web that converts, burns and so on can be downloaded free.

For PC users, Hewlett-Packard (www.hp.com) offers two DVD-burn bundles: the 200e DVD ... The VDP-100’s disc-handling system can stack up to 90 blank discs.

I used TMPG encoder to convert my avi movie. But it converted it into two files: mpeg video, and the audio. After I authored it, however, it seemed to work. But when i opened the file with WinDVD no sound came. if i were to burn the VOB files, would the sound work?

I am becoming increasing frustrated trying to burn a downloading a dvd movie (717MB, avi format) on to a 4.7GB DVD disk. I am using Nero burning software, and it says not enough disk space to burn. I can’t figure it out. Any ideas?

Holy shit. O.G... Are you JEFFK?

personally I use Limewire to download movies and Arcsoft ShowBiz to burn to dvd/vcd... you can make your own menus and slideshows, add a introduction video and set dvd compression. This should solve the "(717MB, avi format) on to a 4.7GB DVD disk” problem.

Here are thw two computers I use this program on

1. AMD Athlon 3000+ 2.1GHz, 1024mb RAM

Usually takes about 1 1/2 hour, the dvd quality/compression settings can change the speed. Seems to take forever to decode with .avi formats, it you change the format with other software it will take less

2. Dual AMD Athlon 62 2.3GHz, 2048mb RAM

Usually takes just under an hour.

I do have a problem though, on both computers when I burn a VCD sometimes the audio is screwed up... it sounds like its playing the audio really fast but playing the video at normal speed.

I use DVD shrink to rip the dvds, it’s the fastist thing I can find.
