Just Info NO B.S Guest | The best way to copy a DVD is to use the program DVD Decrypter which can be found at,
http://www.dvddecrypter.r8.org/
and then the second program DVD Shrink, which is the program i use to burn the DVD files on a DVD Disc and its,
http://www.mrbass.org/dvdshrink/
these are two programs that do the job, you would need space on your computer though, around 10 GB, is good, and the more the better, but around 5-7 GB is good to copy and you’ll an extra 5-7 GB because when DVD Shrink is burning it will need to output the files and do its process.
there is nothing complicated to it, don’t stress over it, its nothing impossible, and of course like many of us we are hear at the forums trying to learn, but i don’t recommend forms because you will not find answers and only people who think they do and want to be on their high horse, guest user O.G you need to get off your mule, this a place for people who look for info not to read how much of a know it all you think you are.
The best way to find what your looking for is to look for it and don’t expect for people to help you, because you will find people telling you how much they know or to look, they’re people who do help and are not all about themselves, so don’t be put down by the few who are disrespectful. the info its out there in the internet, you can find it and learn. in your searches the most important thing are the keywords you use. again the best way to copy and burn a DVD is using programs like DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink, and having the system requirements of Space and a DVD-R drive “DVD burner”, and its better to copy a DVD from a Original Source, few you can download, but are available on Emule and other p2p programs.
USE THIS AS INFORMATION AND RESOURCE.

Just Info Guest | DVD Santa is a solution to convert your AVI and other media formats, a good tip to find how to use DVD Santa is by using the keywords:ex:“DVD Santa Tutorials” in your favorite search engine..ex:Google.com, Yahoo etc..
To justify my original post there are people that help out there and the ones that don’t ignore there comments.

colin8 Guest | I don’t understand why everyone always asks the same exact questions 50 times over and over again on this forum. It is like a never-ending cycle. The solution to burning AVI’s and such has ben answered time and time again, and the solution for duplicating DVD’s has been answered many a time on this forum. Please everyone just search before asking these questions.

PJ2u2 Guest | I’ve got all the burning down no problem, but does anyone know how to work the Menu set up in TMPGnc Author ?? I cannot find a guide and the help file is corrupted.
1}I can make a menu, but it does not show when disc first starts.
2}I want to show the 4 chapters on the main menu to select from, it only allows me to show 1 chapter per 4 menus.
I’m sure I’m just missing something in setup but cannot figure out what.
Thanks

Wannabe Rep: 0 Joined: 23 Jul 2005 Posts: 15 OFFLINE | Hello out there!!!!
Can anyone help me understand the process of downloading and burning movies off of the internet? Once I have downloaded an avi movie, do I convert it over to mpeg and then use TMPGEnc and then burn the movie with Decrypter?
If I do find a movie that is already in mpeg format, can I just run it into TMPGEnc and then burn it? I have DVD Shrink, Decrypter, TMPGEnc DVD Author and VirtualDub. I also am using Cucusoft AVI to VCD DVD MPEG Converter Pro and Cucusoft MPEG to DVD Author. Is there a certain order I need to use with these software? Please help, I have been reading a lot of material and I have yet to find anything to work.
Thanks!!!!!

PJ2u2 Guest | You’ve got it right.
AVI to MPG, TMPGEnc to convert.
MPG to DVD, TMPGEnc Author to convert
Burn with Author writing tool or Nero.
(Watch final MPG size, you can sometimes fit
more than one movie on a dvd.}
For walk thru Guide goto

Normally an mepg file can just be converted to DVD, But not always. Author will tell you if it is a non-compliant Mpg file. If this happen run it thru TMPGEnc to re-encode it, then convert and burn. My ISP was down all weekend. Somebody cut a main-line, just got back online 3:00 pm today. I just prefer TMPGEnc bacause it will batch files, I can set several up at a time , leave it to encode and convert at night or while at work , then all I have to do is burn.

Well i download avi, divx movies and i wanna convert them to dvd. So..... i followed colins guide and dl virtual dub, tmpgenc and the author. First couple of movies i got sound and visual but did stutter a bit. But now i have a avi movie i tryed to convert using the virtualdub-tmpgenc-tmpgenc dvd author steps. when i played the vob files created they worked fine, but soon as i burnt the vobs with nero (and yes i know u have to drag over the vob, iso,& bup files over as a video_ts folder) but then i had visual but no sound on Windows media player but it worked fine with vlc player and didnt do fuck all on my dvd player (wouldnt even load, u could hear it trying to read it though). also just tryed converting with dvdsanta and even used the dvdsanta burning option instead of nero and guess what! yes same shit happened exactly as all the problems converting with the other methods.
So anyone out there with a good answer to my problem the please help. The problem with these forums is , theres abotu 8-10 posts per page and they are mostly questions and people don’t put enough detail about their crap going wrong but theres not enough answers. so come on you boffins get posting im getting fucking impatient.

PositiveNegitivity Guest | Hi, im a newbee at all this but first want to say thanks to all the info that has been left on this site. My question may seem a little silly.....ive used WinAvi to convert an avi file to dvd and want to use the same programe to burn this onto a blank DVD-R. Do i select the whole folder (Audio file included) and press burn or just the Video file? I have tried selecting the whole folder and it causesd an error. If i select just the Video file will the DVD have sound?
Thanks

I don’t know why, and have never seen an explanation, but always copy your contents into the Video_TS folder. Why the Audio folder is there I do not know.

PositiveNegitivity Guest | So i should copy the Audio data and paste it into the Video file or just select the Video file?
Thanks
