rangersfan87 Guest | Hey all
I converted my avi to mpeg with TMPGEnc, then authored it, then burned with Nero like I always do. The problem is, my DVD has no sound during playback. And idea where I went wrong?
Thanks in advance for any help you can give me!

in order to add avi, you’d better install ffdshow codec, select all the audio and video codec formats

bketten Guest | Hi
I have just finished burning an avi as a DVD crisp and Clear. I found a program called ImToo Avi to DVD. It is simple you open it up, Imprt your avi and click burn. One step and my movie is clear as can be. Also I gives you the choice of widescreen or full. You have to purchase the full version to make it work but worth it. The trial leaves a watermark on your DVD. Just type in the name of it and get it from the site and you should be ready to go shortly.
Hope this helps

Mahen Guest | Please send me instructions to fit 3-4 coverted AVI’s on one DVD. Thanks

ok, the first thing and only thing is its not simple. I’ve been playing with movies on the comp for about 7 year’s, and i learn new stuff everyday.
ok, you’ll need at least 3 pragrams. Of course tmpg express{well known god of conversion progs}
a dvd authoring prog{i suggest tmpg dvd author}
and a dvd burner software.
Essentially you take your. Avi file and convert it With tmpg to an mpeg2 which is the standard for dvd.
then authoring it builds the files and folders to put on the dvd in the format and order needed.
Then simply burn it, if using tmpg dvd author and nero 6, it will burn itself when done authoring.
Ok so that’s the simple basics, i have a process i finally got right in which you can fit 3-4 converted .Avi’s on one dvd-r. With good sound and video bitrate as long as you have good source files.
If anyone wants these instructions just e-mail me, or i may post them on here if enough ppl want them.

pinkfloyd Guest | Hi...I used to be able to burn dvd’s very fast...They would usually burn at about a 16x to 48x...Now since rebooting my pc all i can get is about a 4x writing speed...I have gone to all softwares I use and set them all to fastest or a higher writing speed..Also i set the actual pc drivers to write fast..Still I get the 4x writing speed...I use all the same software I had installed previous to the rebooting...I have a dell demension 400..Im using the NERO 6..Dvd shrink also...Would anyone know why this has become such a problem by just after rebooting the system?
