how do i burn avi movies to dvd with nero 6 ultra edition

kirk Guest What is the true dvd format when i can convert from various forms of coding you know which ones. that true dvds will play on pal playstations will work with win media player 9 will work with countless dvd players but converting these verious forms of coding have provided lafable results.example copied a series of avi’s shows with dvd santa in pal high quality not wide screen which will play sound/video on playstation will not recignise dvd in a divx capable dvd player wont play sound on win media player 9 but will play perfect with cyberlink power dvd player on cpu. wow who knows the true dvd coding and can it actualy be done for free.codecs i have them but shouldent need them if i can manufacture true dvd for my tv shows. any comments?

Seth Kiser Guest here with me is a 3rd year pre med student and a girl who is in her last yeay in pharm school... neither knows that mcuh about computer. People have different knowledge in different fields, computers isn’t mine... all i wanna know in simple terms is the steps i take to burn to dvd r on one disk. I have winavi and nero. What file format do i change the avi too?

TopsyTurvy1 Guest If you want to convert an avi file to a DVD then you will have to create some VOB files with your Winavi video converter. At the end burn all the VOB files (in the VIDEO_TS folder) in Nero burning rom.

IDAN Guest Hi 2 all! I’m playing avi on Philips DVP642 (region free, best in class) burned by Nero6. Computer - Cel 1.8, RAM512, XP. Problem - when i try to burn multisession DVD-R with avi files (added after download) player can’t read next tracks (only first one). So i can’t play all avi, just burned first. But if i burning all avi files (5-6) in one session all works good. Any suggestion WTF is going on? Thanks
