YOU CAN USE
Blaze Media Pro
iSofter
DEMO’S
you will need to buy them to remove the mark that shows after they have been converted

Use iSofter to make the VOB files AVI then use Blaze Media Pro to write them to DVD.

TRY: Blaze Media Pro [trial version]

Burning .avi to a DVstraight

Blaze Media Pro : It is mainly an audio ripping & burning prog, but can also burn .avi files to DVD [recommended at 2.4x speed] on a 4.7GB disc. You need to burn then as a data DVD.

I am just interested in burning a DVD with these files. I mostly Have the VOB files as well, but i also have IFO files. So you guys are basically saying to convert to ISO and burn through Nero to create a successful DVD?
The file i have is a DVD rip and when extracted it is 4.35GB which should fit perfecly on a disc..? And it sounds like DVD-Rs play on most DVD players..

If you have already a vob collection in a video ts folder and that includes the ifo too just go ahead and burn it. Open the burning software you have and select dvd and copy the entire folder and burn it.Some softwares like Copy to DVD or Clone DVD2 select burn image file and point to the video ts folder and click burn. Simple like that. Converting is just a step ahead from avi to dvd (vob) and you already have it.

I have ultraiso and I wanted to burn some movies I have, only thing is they are in an iso file. I tried burning them as an iso and my computer reads them but when I try to play them on my dvd player the picture rolls. Then I tried extracting them and then burning them but it still does the same thing. What am I doing wrong? I know it’s going to be something either small or stupid.

Ahhh! I’m having so much trouble making a DVD. So, okay, here goes. Hopefully I will get some help. ^_^

I want to burn 4 episodes of an anime onto a DVD-R disk (4.7gb) They WERE .avi files but I converted them successfully into .vob (there are also .bup and .ifo in there too) So then! I go to use Nero Express to burn them and I get the error message “Burn Process Failed at 4x” I’ve also tried it at 1x and 2x which are the only other options. It just doesn’t work. I’m reading around and I’m seeing convert back to .avi, it’s much easier blah blah blah. After I went through so muchhh to get a program to convert without a watermark, I’m just getting mad! T.T Any help is GREATLY appreciated. Thx ^_^

Hi Melinda sounds like fun for you.First how you converted the avi, what software? If you use Nero Vision I can tell I don’t like it. A lot of time and still buggy for me after so many updates. If you use a converter it’s easy to burn it. Myself I got rid of Nero long time ago version 6 was a good one but 7 is a pain. I convert now with VSO ConvertX to dvd and burn with elby clonedvd2. For something out of routine I have Roxio Easy Media Creator is a big come back from the funeral of WinXP Easy Creamator 5.0. Go to this site and get some stuff with no watermark and try to help yourself: www.softarchive.net

It is because you are probably burning the disc in iso9660 filing system and normal dvd are suppose to be in UDF/ISO hybrid format. You should burn the files with nero or download ImgTool Classic for free and create an iso file that is in UDF/ISO format then use Imgburn to burn the iso. These software title are for windows.

Hey, I used dvd decrypter, turned off file splitting, used ifo I mode, and only chose one audio format. Hence, I have the barebones of what is needed to play a movie. However, I do not know how to burn my one ifo file and my one vob file to play on a dvd player.

any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks

I’ve tried the movies and they have burned correctly and work just not on my player or ps2 and I do not understand why. They are avi files. My dvd player is new its a sony. And the ps2.
