Hi everybody, If anyone can help me with my prob I will be very happy. ThankU
Here’s what I’m trying to do:
convert my FCP sequence to mpeg2, in order to then burn it to DVD.
The thing is that Mpeg2 does not come up as an option for me in the quicktime movie format options under the “file” section of my final cut Pro program.
I was told this was because I didn’t have quicktime pro, so I got those codes, downloaded the softwhere, but still mpeg2 has not come up as an option.
I need to get mpeg2 onto my FCP other wise I can burn my movie.
Can anyone help please ??
PS I am pretty new to this stuff so big gaps in my knowlage . But if you know whats wrong please tell me and I will work it out with my buddy who is far more tech savvy than me. Unfortunatley he doesn’t get back for a while.
Any help I would appreciate.Ta

You have to a full version of Apple DVD Studio Pro. It seems to be the only way to get mpeg2 to work in Final Cut Pro.
