Help please. I used DVD shrink to back up a dvd. Now when I try to use Roxio EMC9, burn image it can find the video.ts file but when I try to add it, it tells me no items match the search. This used to be a snap with earlier versions of Roxio but those versions evidently have compatibility issues with Vista. Thanks for any advice anyone can provide would be much appreciated.

To everyone wanting to convert .ts files to dvd all you have to do is use a program called DVR-Studio Pro.

you can just use dvd creator plus to add the video_ts file then burn it. http://www.dvdcreatorplus.com
you’d better install ffdshow codec, select all the video codec format.

I haven’t been able to find a way to burn thos .ts files either but i can just play them on my pc.

I just downloaded stealth and underworld evolution and i can open the files with my player of choice (the best player ever), Classic Media Player
If it doesn’t work right away you should google k-lite mega codec pack and install that, it contains classic media player and a whole lot of codecs.

I hope it’l soon be possible to burn the .ts files to dvd

Hi.
i had a 7 gig ts file and tried lots of progs unsuccessfully,to convert and burn to dvd, as advised by these forums, dvd santa and nero vision, which I use all the time for avi files.
Just kept getting error messages. Basically, file wouldn’t load.
Crossed fingers, currently converting and burning this ts file to dvd-r, custom size 4.3 gig.
Program I am using is ConvertXtoDVD.
Very easy user interface.
Gives options for pal / ntsc / 4:3, widescreen, subs, audio and loads of other stuff, if you need it, without being overwhelming to the newbie.
Good luck.
Hope this helps.
