I took CPngNs advice and just used Nero Vision Express 3.0, which I already had. Nothing complicated added the .ts files just like I would an AVI file. Only thing I had to do was allow “all files” ( *.* ) to be shown in my selection window when choosing the video files to add. Seems like .ts files take a lot longer to burn tho, my typical DVD will burn in 5 hours. This one is telling me 21 hours to burn. But it is currently burning and video images are running on the screen. Thanks for the tip.

Dragn you are a retard as 1. you can’t spell Dragon and 2. Noland3 is correct. In fact you don’t even need to rename the .ts file, just open in in Windows Media Player and it will play.

Actually guys, there is no need to rename the file at all. Just download a DVD decoder for WMP and install it. Then you can watch .ts files natively in WMP. As long as you have a WMP plug in capable of DVD playback, it can also play .ts files. I use NVIDIA’s Reference Decoder and can play back .ts files in WMP beautifully. You can buy the plug in here...

http://www.nvidia.com/object/dvd_decoder.html

Or you can simply search for a free *ahem* “full evaluation version” of it on various sites which specialize in files which begin with t and end with orrent. :-)

Thanks to the guys / gals who gave some useful info here on the TS file format (MPEG-TS).

To all the others, I suggest you go read a lot more than you do.

hi,
1- I want to burn TS file on a DVD5. the TS file is 16GB! so it wont fit. i dont want to convert it to smaller size mpegs. just smaller sized TS files to burn on DVD5 or
2- tell me if i place a 16GB file in nero and start burning would it ask for additional dvd5 to be placed in the tray just soon as it has written one. just like in the days of floppy drives where bigger softwares were placed on several floppies.
