Just wanted to thank 'phoenix Nguyen'. I’ve been looking all over the web for a solution for the lack of audio in one of my files. Got the tag 85 problem when I tried to play in Divx, googled it and got here, and 2 min later, problem fixed grin

As for everyone who posted that that codec pack don’t fix it, bunch of jerk offs posting crap like 'waste of time' ect. Probably forgot to plug in their speakers.

phoenix Nguyen’s stuff worked spot on.

Audio codec 2.8 is now Audio codec 3.0.

Use the mirror link, the other appears to be broken.

Thanks

What if you don’t get a success message?

I followed Pheonix instruction but got a message saying it was loaded but “The DllRegisterServer entry point was not found” l3codecs.acm does not appear to be a .DLL or .OCX file”

What now?
