mpeg movies have sound but no video

I’m trying to play .mpeg movies in Windows Media Player 10. The problem I’m having is that I only hear the audio but don’t see any video. When I play the same files in other players it plays fine. Can anyone help me out?

yeah i have exactly the same problem! they used to work then just Stopped! someone please help

Hmmmm....it might be that you need to download codecs for your windows media player
to find the codecs just search for them in any search engine
and if u dunno wah codecs are for its just that alotta movies ect. that u download of net will need codecs to play properly
hope this helps u out and that u dont alredi know all of this...
