mplayer2.exe does not work

i have recently installed many codecs and then uninstall all. now my mplayer2.exe file is not working. when i run this command nothings happens. what should i do to fix this problem.
i have also copied it from other PCs but no result.
plz help me out.
i am using Windows2003 Server Enterprise Edition.

I Had the same problem not to long ago,
all you have to do is this...
Go To the Windows Media Player web site...
Down-Load and INSTALL the latest version
of Windows Media Player even if you already have IT!
basically !!!YOU MUST REINSTALL Media player!!!
Version 10 of media player is what I reinstalled
and media player 6.4(mplayer2.exe)...
...will come back to LIFE!!!
