I’ve had success ripping a protected DVD with IsoBuster.

1) I inserted the DVD into my drive.
2) I opened IsoBuster, and it automatically recognized the DVD.
3) I right-clicked on the DVD’s tree in the left pane, and selected 'Extract DVD <Image> -> User Data (*.tao, *.iso). This yielded me a TAO file as well as a cue-sheet.
4) I then ejected my DVD from the drive, and opened up my freshly created image in IsoBuster.
5) I located the VIDEO_TS folder within the iso’s filestructure, rightclicked the folder, and selected 'EXTRACT VIDEO_TS', and saved it on my desktop.

I now had a folder containing exactly what I needed.

6) I opened up Nero, selected DVD from the dropbox, and dragged & dropped all the files from my VIDEO_TS folder on my desktop into the provided VIDEO_TS folder that Nero automatically creates for DVD videos. Then I hit burn.

If this isn’t working for anyone, then try updating IsoBuster to its latest release.
