SlimShadySkip Guest | CAN SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME....
I keep trying to burn IN NERO (I have the newest version and am having problems that I have never ran across before....
PLEASE HELP!!!!! PLEASE HELP!!!!
I have ripped dvd movie and am trying to burn a dvd with the *(IFO/VOB/BUP FILES)* I am doing it like i allways do but now it will act like it is starting to burn but before the Buffer Level Fills up and the Progress bar starts moving like its burning IT ERRORS OUT AND STOPS...
IT SAYS “Track Following Error, Plextor DVDR PX-712a\H0-T1”
I have allready gone into Services and Disables the IMAPI There but it still keeps doing it???
I assume this is because Nero thinks something else is using the DVD-R Rom or its in use or something but I have uninstalled all other burning programs I had installed like Stomp Record Now Max and Easy CD Creator... I have done this with tons of other burning programs installed but don’t know why it is giving me fits now????
It has never done this
CAN ANYONE HELP????? I am very knowledgeable of allot of things and especially dvd ripping/processing and authoring But this has gotten me stumped/////
Thanks much and you can email me directly at SlimShadySkip@PunkAss.com

SlimShadySkip Guest | UPDATE>>> NOW IM NOT TOO SURE IT IS AN IMAPI ERROR AT ALL????
The files I was trying to burn were located in a folder on my desktop *(on my C Drive)* I Later Copied the Folder and its contents to another Hard Drive... My K Drive Which happens to be a Serial ATA 250 GIG Hard Drive ....
THEN IT WORKED,,, WHEN I BURNED THE FILES FROM A DIFFERENT HARDDRIVE ???? IF ANYTHING I WOULD IMAGINE HAVING PROBLEMS WRITING FROM ANY DRIVE OTHER THAN MY C DRIVE BUT NOT HAVING PROBLEMS WRITING FROM MY “MAIN” C DRIVE>>>>
THIS IS WEIRD???
ANYONE THAT CAN HELP WITH ANY INSIGHT INTO THIS PROBLEM I WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATE IT>>>

IT DID NOT END UP WORKING FROM THE OTHER DRIVE>>>
IT DID GET TO THE POINT THAT IT SAID THE BUFFER WAS FILLING UP AND LOOKED LIKE IT WAS BURNING BUT ERRORED OUT LATER ON AND THEN WHEN I CHECKED THE DISC IT WAS EMPTY????
WHATS UP????
PLEASE HELP | |

Shadow5731 Guest | I have the latest in Nero here, and had a similar problem actually...it’d process it and all, BUT would not write the dvd correctly.
Easy fix if your Nero is for cd AND dvd....is open up the regular 'ol Nero (not the dvd one that comes in that package)...and make a new project. Next, in the upper right corner (when your also able to select files to add to the compilation)...there should be a box there....click it’s arrow there and 3-5 different drives should show....and select the one that is your dvdrw WITH a line that mentions DVD in it...probably the 3rd or 4th one down the list...it MIGHT say something like
“Plextor DVDR PX-712aH0-T1 [DVD]” or similar...
don’t use the top 2 ones in htat....THAT is where your error lies at.
The idea to make it burn a DVD that your tv’s player can read is basically just taking all those files and writing them to a dvdr...when you selected the right one there, it’ll put up 2 sub-directories in the file area....1 for the sound and 1 for the video...then just drop them all into the video folder.

Entree Rep: 0 Joined: 14 Mar 2005 Posts: 7 OFFLINE | better clarify my last post here...nero express OEM version...not the dvd one like previous versions......select the drive at the top when first started that has the [DVD] at the end of it, THEN select to burn a dvd disc...it’ll have the 2 folders set up as default for you...
(gotta thank the wife with Zoo tycoon half the time....atleast the next WEEK here I can be on MY computer and not hers:P)
