phoemix Guest | i’ve tried to play some movies, but all of them had this strange audio codec, and i’m unable to find it’s software or even it’s name.
could someone tell me a bit more about it?
what is the name of the codec, where can i find such like information on the net, and where can i get the codec from?

Darryl Guest | I have also realized that before downloading the file, you should have “Voxware Compression Tool Kit” installed first or it won’t work. Anyone have any other solutions?

Mikey B Guest | Can anybody tell me how I can download this codec quickly and easily please. It’s proving quite difficult. I’ve tried using that Vox-thing mallarky and it’s about as useful as a pedal-powered wheelchair! I really would be greatful, Thanks.

Alex F Guest | Go to http://support.ninthhouse.com/updates/
Then click on Voxware Audio Codec link at the bottom , install the thing and youre all set.
But somehow I am able to play the movie only in RealPlayer.

Darryl Guest | That voxware software is not always easy to actually install. I find it is for the “More Advanced” user but if you’re mainly worried about it for audio in movies, try updating your sound driver and also you could try using DivX Player. Many free and safe downloads for that - www.divx.com. I myself only tried to use the Voxware software for Cakewalk Music Software. Cannot install that Tag 117 for the life of me!

Chikorita Guest | After installing the codec I got sound but no image with divX player, image but no sound with VLC player and both sound and image (thank god!) with powerDVD. Persistance pays obviously... Weird!
