How do i break a chapter apart?

I try to explain this as simple as i can: Let say I put in a Friends Season 4 DVD into my drive and I only wanted to burn this one episode of the season into my portable AV player but all the VOB files for example: VTS_01_5 has more than one episode in it, for example a full episode and then only the first half of another episode. My question is: Is there a program out there I can use to cut the VOB file? Since I only want only 3 out of the 20 episodes in let say Friends Season 4. Please help! Hope I explained myself clearly! Thank you
