Watching films via media player on PDA

I have a PDA with media player installed, do you knw how I can watch my fils on the PDA, I have shrink DVD and can get the file onto an SD card but it does not recognise the file in media player, any thoughts?

You will need the codecs installed on the PDA prob! Never used one in my ;life bear in mind but you may also need DivX on there etc before they will play. Good luck with it

Media player for pocket pc works best with windows media encoded files, so the best bet is to use Windows Media Encoder (free on the Microsoft site) to encode (and compress) the movie to a playable file. This program even has a preselected option for encoding pocket pc movies.

It will encode a number of different file formats, but so far, most of my encoding has been done on .vob’s.
