martinman1949 Guest | i think you are going to need to buy/download a file converter, just like myself. i am just trying to find out what one is best for me. it will convert mpeg,avi,wmv,files to dvd files, so you can play on home dvd player.

You can use DVD Santa to convert just about any kind of file to dvd. it converts, then gives the option to burn at the end. Very simple to use. You can get roughly 3 x 1.5 gig movies per dvd.
Another peice of kit i use is DVD labs. Dvd labs allows to you make, menus, screenshots, and all the dvd extras.
trial software (ahem) can be found on most P2P networks...

shamus Guest | usually if it says kvcd,you should use nero burning rom,and burn as a video cd.(onto a cdr disk,not dvd)
