Paul Luk Guest | I’ve download a series of clips (1-25) which in rmvb format, some of the files (1-20) can play and some files(21-25)can’t play.
When i try to play it, a msg said that it needs to download new software. But the real network doesn’t have that software available.
The feedback message is about “no software support for RMV."

ViVi Guest | Yeah, it happened to me too. There’s no way you can open the file with realplayer. All you can do is to download that file again.

that-girl Guest | Vivi and Paul..
Do you mean you have to download the whole file!? as in torrent file..
or just the ones that aren’t working.. because of a series of 31 episodes.. #21 isn’t working.. I’m getting the whole “need new software/doesn’t support RMV” message..
thanks for any replies

questionmark Guest | I’ve exactely the same problem as yours, also media player classic doesn’t help..
We ought to find a program which convert rmvb in any other extensions, so that it could play.

Whitetiger228 Guest | Hi:
Just downloaded some RMVB files and am able to watch these videos on Realplayer. My question is that how do I burn these RMVD on to a vcd? When I use NEO, it tells me that I need to use a converter.
Thanks

Try Real Producer Basic (not Plus). It’s freeware.
http://www.realnetworks.com/products/producer/index.html
It can definitely read AVI. I dunno about VOB though (it should if you have a decoder).
