I’ve download a series of clips (1-25) which in rmvb format, some of the files (1-20) can play and some files(21-25)can’t play.
When i try to play it, a msg said that it needs to download new software. But the real network doesn’t have that software available.
The feedback message is about “no software support for RMV."

Yeah, it happened to me too. There’s no way you can open the file with realplayer. All you can do is to download that file again.

Vivi and Paul..
Do you mean you have to download the whole file!? as in torrent file..
or just the ones that aren’t working.. because of a series of 31 episodes.. #21 isn’t working.. I’m getting the whole “need new software/doesn’t support RMV” message..
thanks for any replies

I’ve exactely the same problem as yours, also media player classic doesn’t help..
We ought to find a program which convert rmvb in any other extensions, so that it could play.

Hi:

Just downloaded some RMVB files and am able to watch these videos on Realplayer. My question is that how do I burn these RMVD on to a vcd? When I use NEO, it tells me that I need to use a converter.

Thanks
Dennis

Try Real Producer Basic (not Plus). It’s freeware.
http://www.realnetworks.com/products/producer/index.html
It can definitely read AVI. I dunno about VOB though (it should if you have a decoder).
