g-spot detects audio codec, but can't render the file

skye Guest hey, so my problem is that when i try playing movies in media player, it won’t open them, because the file is not supported. and when i run the movies through g-spot it tells me my video codecs are alright, and my audio codecs as well (meaning it detected a codec that could decompress the audio-part of the file) but when it tries rendering the file i get an error, called 0x80040265. any idea what this is. by the way, .mpeg files work fine and the problem only emerged 2 weeks ago. and yeah, that’s about it, if anyone knows what the problem is, please help thanks a lot
