Has anyone tried this riverpast.com fix? I’m having the same problem as all of you on certain files. Maybe one out of 10. If it works please post and let us know.

I had the same problem. It turned out that the avi file had errors. I used AVI Fixed that as part of the K-lite Codec pack to correct the errors. Now Superdvdcreator accepts the file.
Good luck

When I try to convert/burn AVI files to DVD-R using Super DVD Creator version 8.5, the software begins the conversion process but then fails to complete the conversion and burning. It just hangs on the conversion portion of the process with “-1” displayed for “TimeUsed”. The Converting Process meter hangs at 0 %. When I check the Working Folder (“SDVDTemp”) to see if the software was compiling any data, all I see is a file named “avi filename_aud.ac3”. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software but it still does not work. I’ve converted/burned 4 AVI files to DVD-R discs earlier today, then suddenly the software stopped working. Does anyone have any tips?

RenderFile (wfile) is an graphic instruction in C++ it also used for testing the contenu of the file.
The cause of test fall is “Invalid file data type!" or “Invalid codec”.
