Two of my video files are playing without their audio. After going to Web Help from Windows Media Player (Error C00D10D1), I was directed to a new page that said I needed the codec with the FourCC or WaveFormat identifier of

E06D8032-DB46-11CF-B4D1-00805F6CBBEA

I tried googling it, but I didn’t find anything. Any ideas?

This codec is provided by the Dazzle Media Creator software (Pinnacle Systems http://www.pinnaclesys.com). I have several files created by this software that I can’t read after reloading my operating system, and can’t find the original software CD to reload the application. Pinnacle Systems requires registration and the original serial number to download any updates, so I’m searching for just the raw CODEC to install.

I downloaded a codec pack called “ACE Mega Codec Pack” from the following site:
http://www.free-codecs.com/download/ACE_Mega_CoDecS_Pack.htm
and it solved the problem. Hope this helps someone.

Thanks for your help. My installation of “Sonic myDVD” (that came pre-installed together with Windows XP MCE with my HP media center computer) exported mpegs with this codec. Windows Media Player couldn’t find it, but it was there as you said in above mentioned package. Good work, thanks again"
