veiwing movie causes windows to freeze

whene I am running kazaa revolution and veiwing with irfan veiw (it may be a photo veiwer but it will play partal and corrupt wmv asf better than windows media and other player “sometimes”IT causes windows to stop completly, while repeating the same sound. this does not occur right away in play back but randomly. It did not happen with kazaa resurrection or liteK++.
CAN ANYBODY HELP?
