can't play downloaded episodes

i’ve just downloaded an episode of lost but i can’t seem to play the audio in windows media player. the video works fine but the media player says that there was an error downloading the necessary codec. i find this even more frustrating because all the other episodes of lost that i have downloaded work just fine. any suggestions?
