Hello all.
i’ve downloaded RESIDENT EVIL EXTINCTION as a DVDRIP.XVID.AVI
but i can’t play it not on one player.I tried Gspot hoping it would tell me what codecs i would need but Gspot says:“Rendering failed.Following is the error reported by directshow:0x80040265 unknown)
I would appreciate it is someone could give me a clue.

It’s not working with WMP or PowerDvD.

first download WINRAR from RARLABS
right click on the .RAR file in the download folder and extract here - hey presto all of those RAR files will be converted together into one beautiful AVI

I’m not so sure that’s the true extension. Do you happen to have that box un-checked, to allow you to see known file extensions?
If not, Open my computer.
file
-Tools
— folder options
— -view
— — (un-check) Hide extensions from known file types
That file should end with .avi.
If you have that box un-checked and you still don’t see .avi as the extension, try adding it.
You maybe also are just missing an .xvid codec.

Do you have a .xvid codec installed?
If not get one.
Although from those Gspot results it may be corrupt or another suspected fake release. It may require the 3Wplayer, or a piece of shit that needs to be already infecting your PC so you can watch a movie you most-likely already have on DVD.

austindanger Guest | im in the army overseas in an area were i cant just goto the movie theatres and so downloading movies is the only way i can watch now it has been getting difficult lately to watch a movie because every movie i download i require some sort of dif filter or player is there 1 player out there that can do everything!!!! F#$K!

It has every codec you can ever need, and it’s a tiny file
Google it.

but i have try many times now and he always say the same again... it seems to be a good program so how should i do so he feels the dvd

HotDamnYouBetCha Guest | Listen up, I can say this only once. If’n you downloaded something and you lookup the codex an find it is malware or virus STOP trying to play it, trash it and run a good virus spyware and rootkit detector. Do not go to that source again!
