luvindafreeshit Guest | If you are having the problem with audio tag 85 errors just roll back your drivers to a previous one that worked in Contro Panel go to Sound and Audio Devices>Audio>Hardware>Click on Sound Device for example mine is RealTek Audio97>Click on Properties>Driver>Roll Back Driver!!
Hopefully Thats Works for ya’ll!!! It worked 4 me!!

Jon Guest | Ok here is why it doesn’t work. I downloaded, extract http://download.divxmovies.com/mp3codec.zip
A file called setupl3c.exe comes out of the zip. When I run it, a nice picture opens up and has a NEXT and CANCEL button. THE NEXT BUTTON DOESNT WORK! Basically it does NOTHING when you click on it.
PLEASE HELP ME!

Insert Cool Alias Here Guest | This worked fine for me. I tried installing all kinds of codecs first that didn’t work. This did though. Make sure you have a small L and a space between the exe and l.
THANKS A TON!!!

daniel Guest | FINally this worked for me.
i was gettign the module not found error and
i had to MANUALLY put in the location of
l3codecx.ax
as F:\WINDOWS\system32\l3codecx.ax
into the RUN window
so what i did was searched for the l3codecx.ax file using the search option and it found it in the F:\windows\system32
so i put in the run box
regsvr32.exe f:\WINDOWS\system32\l3codecx.ax

Kellie Guest | Like to thank zahzzz for helping me fix my audio tag 85 problem. I tried everything microsoft was saying I was missing codec 55 then divx said it was tag 85, finally following the instructions below I have sound on my tv shows.
Posted by zahzzz (Guest)
TAG85 download this codec “http://download.divxmovies.com/mp3codec.zip”
then extract all the files and run to install it. as soon as you have done that go to start>run> then type
regsvr32.exe l3codecx.acm
click ok. if you get a success message. go to start>run> then type
regsvr32.exe l3codecx.ax
click ok. hopefully you will get a success message.
hope it clarifies things.
