Unable to open a MPEG2 file in MovieFacory 3

Captured a file using ADS TECH CAPWIZ 3.5. I’m using Ulead Movie Factory 3.0 to add the captured file (MPEG2)into Movie Factory to add menu & burn to DVD etc. Problem: The file will not open(import)to Movie factory; file “Freezes and hangs up”. Have tried other MPEG2 files saved on my harddrive that were successfully opened & was able to burned to DVD in the past; (still using CAPWIZ and Movie factory) and the results were as follows: Some MPEG2 files can be opened and some can’t be open. Have reinstalled Movie Factory software, but get same results.
Had no problems with Movie factory until a few days ago. I suspect something is corrupted either XP PRO or something in Movie factory itself. I can’t figure it out or don’t know how to troubleshoot this. Can anybody out there help ???.
