hallo i am looking for a software to download youtube videos in
my pc and convert them to mp3 to listen them in my ipod too, can
you help me pls?

Simplest way if you use Internet Explorer is to grab the file in your browser cache.
If you use Windows XP, first clear your browser cache (control panel, internet options, delete files for IE6 (check box for delete all offline contents - should look like this, delete for IE7 (just delete files, should look like this))
Then navigate to C:\Documents and Settings\youruserid\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files
Open IE and play your file (make sure it loads till the end). Then go back to the cache folder and refresh it (press F5). Choose detailed view and sort by size. The video will likely be the biggest file. Just drag and drop it to your desktop.
One caveat: since Windows can’t read the question mark (?) the filename will be truncated past the getvideo. You might want to check the url name and rename your video accordingly (copy whatever comes after the v= ), and add .flv for file extension.

There are automated tools for this (for example the 'Download Video' button in Real Player, among others), but if you don’t want to install anything and you’re just going to do it for one file or two, you can do it my way.

anonymous is the man for codecs. But yeah, there are lots of places to download YouTube videos. Some sites can change the format of the video from .flv to whatever you want (even mp3 if you just want the audio). However, the quality will be reduced. I’m not sure which method mentioned before me keeps the quality highest.

There are many converters out there as shareware. This is one I have used successfully - Moyea SWF to iPod converter

As for this software, it can convert the online youtube video to iPod mp3 and mp4 video by inputing the URL of the online youtube video into the software, you can have a try.
