Thank you also, it worked perfectly for me too — I had a lot of trouble finding that particular codec — one that worked, anyway. :-)

HelpfulPerson Guest | For Playback of XviD / DivX / MP4 / MP3 / MP2 / MPG / AVI / WMV / x264 / H264 / AVC / AAC and many more formats use the Cole2k Codec Pack. Nice installer, the package is upgradable and updatet very often.
Just have a look at:
http://www.cole2k.net/
This is the one and only solution. Forget all the user “mass” Codecpacks.

Kinru Guest | Try this x264 installation module (430 kb):

Kinru Guest | Yes, I have to admit, the H264 is really a nasty one(yet)!
I’ve managed the problem in the following way:
1) install the codec from http://x264.nl/
>>stil AvsSource will not recognize it<<,
2) recompress using newest version of AutoGK with XviD output,
3) => watch or convert to DVD with CCE (preferable).
Enjoy!

Lawrence Guest | can someone help me?
Windows Media Player cannot play the file (or cannot play either the audio or video portion of the file) because the Dolby AC3 (2000) codec is not installed on your computer.
